Meekro helps indie video game developers cover costs for things like art assets, vocal performances, sounds design, marketing, playtesting - even programming. We're not a publisher. We're a partner, putting our money where your mouth is so you can focus on finishing your game.

What We Fund

Meekro provides small-scale investments to help independent creators and studios fund specific, targeted expenditures during development.

We typically invest between $200 and $5,000, depending on need.

Meekro investments are intended for specific, identifiable expenditures that move your game forward — for example:

  • Purchasing a licensed asset pack, engine plugin, or middleware

  • Commissioning music, art, voice acting, or localization

  • Paying for a marketing beat (trailer production, a festival booth, a PR push)

  • Contracting a specialist (porting, QA, sound design) for a defined scope of work

  • Hardware, software licenses, or tools needed to complete a milestone

Working capital investments (general operating funds not tied to a specific expenditure) are considered only in rare circumstances and require a stronger justification in your application.

Direct Services

In some instances, Meekro can fund services directly through our partner network. Services eligible are:

  • Programming

  • Script Writing

  • Script Editing

  • Quality Assurance & Playtesting

  • Trailer Production

  • Marketing Guidance

  • Intellectual Property Management & Enforcement

Applicants seeking direct services can exceed the $5,000 maximum for other services. There is no maximum for direct services.

Eligibility

  • Your game must be already underway — Meekro does not fund concepts or pre-production ideas alone. You must submit either:

  • a playable demo/build, or

  • significant in-progress assets (e.g., substantial art, a working prototype level, a scripted vertical slice, etc.)
